Pageviews tell you what happened. Revenue tells you what worked.
Fathom covers the first three, and can total a value your site sends with an event. SuprAnalytics takes the payment itself from your payment provider and ties it to the visitor who paid, so each source shows the revenue it brought.
- Step 1
Visitors
Who came, from where, on which device
- Step 2
Traffic sources
Google, a newsletter, ChatGPT, a campaign
- Step 3
Conversions
Sign-ups and other goals you define
- Step 4
Payments
From your payment provider's webhook
- Step 5
Attributed revenue
Each payment credited to a source

One website's referrers, sorted by the revenue each brought. Not every payment can be tied to a visitor; those still count in the total, without a source.
Revenue attribution, from your payment provider
Native webhooks for Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Dodo Payments, and a payments API for anything else.
- A visitor arrives from a source: a search, a referrer, a campaign or an AI assistant.
- SuprAnalytics records the visit, and its first-party cookie remembers the visitor.
- They reach a supported checkout, which carries their visitor id.
- The payment completes, and your provider's webhook reports it.
- SuprAnalytics matches it to the visitor when it can: by visitor id, a customer id it has seen, or an email.
- The revenue appears by channel, referrer, campaign, landing page and country.
- First touch credits the visit that first brought the customer. Last touch, the default, credits the visit the payment happened in, so a direct return visit gets Direct credit. Each website picks one.
- Renewals are credited to the customer's original visit. A full refund marks a payment refunded with every provider; partial refunds lower it with Polar, Paddle and Dodo Payments
- A payment that can't be matched to a visitor still counts in your revenue, without a source
What it doesn't do: join visitors across devices on its own, skip direct visits to find an earlier source, import past payments, or report MRR, ARR or churn. Fathom's revenue is the value your site's code sends with an event, totalled per event and, through its API, per source; its pages list no payment-provider integration. How revenue attribution works

Reddit first, a direct visit to pay: first touch credits Reddit, last touch credits Direct.
Understand what visitors did before converting.
Open any visitor and see their visits in order: where each one came from, and what happened next.
- The source of each visit, with its referrer or UTM tags
- Every page they viewed, and the goals and events they triggered
- Their payments, and their chats with you
- Their name and email, if they give them in chat or your app identifies them
A journey follows one browser: a phone and a laptop are two visitors, and naming them with identify doesn't merge their journeys. In cookieless mode a visitor is recognised for a day. Fathom doesn't identify individual visitors, by design; its reports are aggregates. About visitor journeys

Analytics tells you where visitors struggle. Live chat lets you help.
The chat bubble comes from the same script as your analytics, so each conversation opens beside the visit it belongs to.
- A chat widget and one inbox for every website, on every plan
- The visitor's source, the pages they read, their device and location beside each conversation
- Messages sent automatically when a visitor opens a page you choose
Visitors stay anonymous unless they type a name or email, or your app identifies them; you still see their visit. Fathom's pages don't describe a visitor live chat; its Luna assistant answers Fathom customers' questions inside Fathom. More about live chat

Where Fathom may be the better choice
Fathom is a mature, privacy-first analytics product. If one of these matters most to you, it's probably the better fit.
No cookies, and no visitor profiles
Fathom sets no cookies and counts visitors with a hash whose salt changes every day, and it never builds a profile of one person. SuprAnalytics sets a first-party cookie unless you turn cookieless mode on, and keeps per-visitor journeys.
EU visitors processed in the EU
On every plan, Fathom processes EU visitors' traffic on EU servers, so their personal data stays in the EU; the anonymized analytics are stored in the US, and an optional script routes all traffic through the EU. SuprAnalytics offers no EU hosting option.
Sharing with clients
Fathom gives each person their own share link, with an optional password and expiry, up to 100 per site, plus unlimited email reports. SuprAnalytics has one read-only public link per website, with no password.
A read API and a GA4 importer
Fathom's API reads your reports and manages sites, and it imports history from Google Analytics 4. SuprAnalytics' API only accepts data (stats come through its MCP server), and it imports nothing.
History kept while you subscribe
Fathom keeps your analytics for as long as you're a customer and offers yearly billing. SuprAnalytics keeps 2 years to 5 years of data, by plan, and bills monthly only.
Simple and established
Fathom has run since 2018, has the same features on every plan, and documents 38 platforms, with a WordPress plugin and Search Console data.
Neither has team accounts today: Fathom's docs say user accounts are being built, and SuprAnalytics' team access isn't released. Both filter bots, show Google Search Console data and classify AI referrals.
Which product should you choose?
Two honest lists. Pick the one that reads like your situation.
Choose SuprAnalytics if
- You want to know which sources bring paying customers, not only visits and conversions.
- You take payments through Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle or Dodo Payments.
- You want to follow a visitor from their first visit to their payment.
- You want to chat with visitors, with their visit beside the conversation.
- You run many websites and want them all on one plan, from $9 a month, with a trial that needs no card.
Choose Fathom if
- You want no cookies and no per-visitor data, by default.
- You need EU visitors' data processed in the EU.
- You share dashboards with clients and want a password-protected link for each.
- You want to import Google Analytics 4 history, or read your stats through an API.
- You want your history kept as long as you subscribe, or to pay yearly.
How does the pricing compare?
Both price by monthly usage and give every plan the same features. The prices below are both billed monthly; Fathom also bills yearly, SuprAnalytics doesn't.
SuprAnalytics
- 6 monthly plans, from $9 for 100,000 events to $149 for 5 million
- Every feature and unlimited websites on every plan
- Counts pageviews, custom goals and outbound link clicks; never chat messages or payments
- 2 years to 5 years of data history, by plan
- Past the allowance, recording continues to 20% over, then pauses; no overage charges
- 14-day free trial, no card. Monthly billing only. No self-hosted version
Fathom
- 10 monthly plans, from $15 for 100,000 pageviews to $470 for 25 million; custom above
- Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price, two months free
- Every feature on every plan; custom events count toward the pageviews
- At least 50 websites, up to 350 on bigger plans; packs of 50 more for $10/month
- Data kept for as long as you subscribe
- No overage charges; if you stay well over, dashboard access can pause while collection continues
- 7-day free trial, card required. Its pricing page says there's no free plan
Last verified: . Month to month, the entry plans are $9 and $15. The allowances aren't identical: both count custom events, SuprAnalytics also counts outbound link clicks, and Fathom's plans are sized in pageviews.
Switching from Fathom
There's no automatic migration. Here is what moving involves.
Keep Fathom running for now
Your history stays in Fathom: SuprAnalytics can't import it, and starts recording the day you install it. Fathom can export your data as CSV if you want your own copy. Run both side by side through the trial.
Add the SuprAnalytics script
One tag in the
<head>, or the guide for your platform. Need no cookies? Turn on cookieless mode.Check that data arrives
Open your website and watch the visit appear in the realtime view.
Re-create your events as goals
A

So revenue comes from the payment itself, not an event value. How to connect one
Pick first or last touch
Per website, in its revenue settings. Last touch is the default. Which to choose
Compare for a few weeks
Expect the numbers to differ a little: the two count visitors differently (a cookie, or Fathom's daily hash) and filter bots differently. Compare trends, not exact counts.
