When you need more than a traffic dashboard
Plausible answers how many people came and what they did, in aggregate. These three answer who paid, what they were asking, and how they got there.
Revenue attribution from your payment provider
Connect Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Dodo Payments through a webhook, and every channel, campaign, page and country shows the revenue it brought. No revenue values to send from your own pages: the payment comes from the provider, tied to the visit by the visitor's id.
- First-touch or last-touch attribution, per website
- Renewals and refunds counted, in any currency
- Lifetime value per customer and segment, on every plan

Live chat beside the analytics
A chat bubble comes with the same script. Each conversation opens beside the visitor's analytics, so you know who you're talking to before you reply.
- Their traffic source, location, device and the pages they read
- Replies from Telegram, with one tap
- Visitors who left get your answer by email, with a link back to the chat

One visitor's journey, start to finish
Open any visitor or customer and see their visits, the pages they read, the goals they completed and their payments, in order. It's the tracked activity on your website; turn on session recordings and their recorded sessions open from the same profile.
- From the first referrer to the payment, days or weeks apart
- Names and emails when the visitor gives them or your app identifies them
- Funnels with a payment as the last step

When Plausible might be the better fit
Plausible is a well-made, privacy-first product, and for many websites it's the right choice. Choose it if one of these matters most to you.
Cookieless by default
Plausible sets no cookies and keeps no persistent identifier: visitors are counted with a hash whose salt is deleted every 24 hours. SuprAnalytics sets a visitor cookie unless you switch cookieless mode on.
EU hosting
Plausible processes and stores visitor data in the EU, on European-owned infrastructure. SuprAnalytics offers no EU hosting or data-residency option.
Open source and self-hosting
Plausible's code is public, and its Community Edition is free to run on your own servers. SuprAnalytics is a hosted service only.
Bringing your history along
Plausible imports past stats from Google Analytics 4 or a CSV file. SuprAnalytics imports nothing: its reports start the day you install it.
Team seats today
Plausible's Growth plan includes 3 team members and Business 10. SuprAnalytics' team access isn't released yet.
A longer trial
Plausible's trial is 30 days; SuprAnalytics' is 14. Neither asks for a card.

Compare pricing and what you get
Both start at $9 a month. What that buys is different: Plausible's plans add websites, team seats and features as they go up; every SuprAnalytics plan has every feature and unlimited websites, and the plans differ in events.
SuprAnalytics
From $9
- 100,000 events a month for $9; up to 5 million for $149
- Every feature on every plan: revenue attribution, funnels, journeys, live chat
- Unlimited websites and unlimited live chat
- 2 years of data history on the $9 plan, up to 5 years
- Monthly billing only
- 14-day free trial, no card
Past the allowance, recording continues to 20% over, then pauses until the next month; there are no overage charges. No permanent free plan.
Plausible
From $9
- Starter, $9: 1 website, 3 years of data
- Growth, $14: 3 websites, 3 team members
- Business, $19: 10 websites, revenue, funnels, user journeys, Stats API, 5 years of data
- Prices for up to 10k monthly pageviews and custom events; more traffic, higher tiers
- Monthly or yearly billing (two months free yearly)
- 30-day free trial, no card
Over the tier two months running, Plausible asks you to upgrade; its dashboards lock after a week without one while stats keep being collected. No hosted free plan; the self-hosted Community Edition is free.
Pricing verified on . Check both pricing pages for current details. The allowances are close but not identical: Plausible counts pageviews and custom events (not pageview goals); SuprAnalytics counts pageviews, goals and outbound clicks, and never chat messages or payments.
Different approaches to website analytics
The two products make a different trade-off. Plausible minimises what it knows about any one visitor; SuprAnalytics remembers a visitor so it can connect their visits to a payment or a conversation.
SuprAnalytics
- By default the script sets a first-party cookie,
supr_visitor_id, for a year, so a visitor who comes back next week is recognised. That's what makes journeys, first-touch attribution and renewals possible. - Cookieless mode is a switch on the script (
supr-cookieless="true"): nothing is stored on the device, and visitors are recognised by a daily hash instead. A returning visitor then counts as new each day, and a payment is tied to that day's visit only. - IP addresses are used for location as hits arrive and are never stored.
- There's no EU hosting or data-residency option.
Plausible
- No cookies and no persistent identifiers. A visitor is counted with a hash of the website, IP address and browser, whose salt is rotated and deleted every 24 hours, so the same person can't be followed across days.
- Raw IP addresses and browser strings are never stored.
- Reports are aggregate: how many visitors did what, not what one visitor did.
- Visitor data is processed and stored in the EU, on European-owned infrastructure.
Whether you need a consent banner depends on where you and your visitors are, and on how you configure either tool; this isn't legal advice. If cookieless, EU-hosted analytics is a requirement for you, Plausible fits it more fully. The cookieless guide explains exactly what SuprAnalytics stores in each mode.
Which analytics tool is right for you?
Two honest lists. Pick the one that reads like your situation.
Choose SuprAnalytics if
- You sell through Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Dodo Payments and want revenue by channel without sending revenue events yourself.
- You want to talk to visitors with their analytics beside the conversation.
- You want to follow one visitor from first visit to payment.
- You run several websites and want them all on one plan.
- You want funnels, journeys and revenue on the entry plan.
Choose Plausible if
- You want analytics with no cookies and no visitor-level tracking.
- You need your data hosted in the EU.
- You want open-source software, or to host it yourself.
- You want simple aggregate traffic reports and nothing more.
- You want to bring Google Analytics 4 history with you, or need team seats now.
Thinking about switching from Plausible?
It's an afternoon's work, done in steps. Here is what carries over and what doesn't.
Install the script
Add your website and paste one line into the
<head>of your pages, or follow the guide for your platform. It can run next to Plausible's script; neither interferes with the other. Addsupr-cookieless="true"if you want to keep a cookieless setup.Re-create your goals
Plausible's goals don't carry over. Send them with
window.supr(), asupr-goalattribute or a page visit, as the goals guide shows. Plausible's CSS-class goals need the new attribute.Connect your payment provider
Instead of sending revenue values from your pages, connect your provider's webhook and pass the visitor id to the checkout. Polar, Dodo Payments and Paddle checkouts are tagged by the script; the provider guides cover the rest.
Turn on live chat, if you want it
One switch in Settings → Chat puts the chat bubble on your website, from the same script. The live chat guide covers the rest.
Your history stays in Plausible
There is no import from Plausible. Reports start the day you install the script, and numbers won't match exactly: the two count visitors differently, especially with cookies on. Run both during your 14-day trial and compare.
