Where SuprAnalytics stands out

Rybbit shows which channels bring visitors who sign up and stick. SuprAnalytics follows the same visitors one step further, to the payment, so each channel shows the revenue it brought.

  1. Step 1

    Traffic source

    Google, Reddit, a newsletter, ChatGPT

  2. Step 2

    Visitor journey

Every page and visit, in order

  3. Step 3

    Conversion

The goals and funnels you define

  4. Step 4

    Payment

    From your payment provider's webhook

  5. Step 5

    Revenue

    Credited back to the source

Revenue attribution, built in

Connect your payment provider once, and each payment is tied to the visitor who made it and the visit that brought them.

  • Native webhooks for Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Dodo Payments; a payments API for anything else.
  • First touch credits the visit that first brought the customer; last touch, the default, credits the visit the payment happened in, even a direct return. Each website picks one.
  • Revenue by channel, referrer, campaign, landing page and country, with customers and revenue per visitor
  • Renewals are credited to the customer's original visit. A full refund marks a payment refunded with every provider; partial refunds lower it with Polar, Paddle and Dodo Payments
  • A payment that can't be tied to a visitor still counts in your revenue, without a source

What it doesn't do: join visitors across devices on its own, skip direct visits to find an earlier source, import past payments, or report MRR, ARR or churn. Rybbit's pages don't describe revenue attribution or payment integrations; you can send purchases to it as custom events. How revenue attribution works

Reddit first, a direct visit to pay: first touch credits Reddit, last touch credits Direct.

Talk to the visitors you're measuring

A visitor arrives from Reddit, opens your pricing page, and has a question. With SuprAnalytics, the chat bubble comes from the same script as your analytics, so their conversation opens beside their visit.

  • A chat widget and one inbox for every website, on every plan
  • The visitor's source, the pages they read, their device and location beside each conversation
  • Messages sent automatically when a visitor opens a page you choose

Visitors stay anonymous unless they type a name or email, or your app identifies them. Rybbit's pages don't describe a visitor live chat; its “live visitors” is a count of who's on your site. More about live chat

Where Rybbit may be the better choice

Rybbit is a strong product analytics tool. If one of these matters most to you, it's probably the better fit.

  • Self-hosting and open source

Rybbit is AGPL-licensed and free to run on your own server, so your data never leaves your infrastructure. SuprAnalytics is a hosted service only.

  • Cookieless by default, in an EU cloud

Rybbit sets no cookies and re-salts visitor IDs daily, and its cloud runs in the EU. SuprAnalytics sets a first-party cookie unless you switch cookieless mode on, and offers no EU hosting.

  • Error tracking and web vitals

Rybbit records sessions to replay (on Pro), catches JavaScript errors and measures Core Web Vitals. SuprAnalytics records sessions too, with a monthly quota by plan, but has no error tracking or web vitals.

  • Teams and enterprise needs

Rybbit has organisations, role-based access, up to 3 members on Standard and unlimited on Pro, plus SSO and white label on Enterprise. SuprAnalytics' team access isn't released yet.

  • Bringing your history

Rybbit imports past data from Umami, Simple Analytics and Plausible. SuprAnalytics can't import anything: its reports start the day you install it.

  • A read API, and longer retention

Rybbit has a REST API for reading your data, keeps 3 years on Standard and 5 years on Pro, and bills yearly. SuprAnalytics' API only accepts data (stats come through its MCP server), it keeps 2 years to 5 years, and bills monthly.

Both have an MCP server, Google Search Console data, bot filtering and public dashboards, and both report AI crawlers when your server forwards their requests.

Which product should you choose?

Two honest lists. Pick the one that reads like your situation.

Choose SuprAnalytics if

  • You want to know which channels bring paying customers, not only visitors.
  • You sell through Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle or Dodo Payments.
  • You want to chat with visitors, with their visit beside the conversation.
  • You run several websites and want them all on one plan.
  • You'd rather pay monthly, from $9, with a trial that needs no card.

Choose Rybbit if

  • You want to self-host, or need open-source software.
  • You need cookieless tracking by default and EU hosting.
  • You want error tracking or web vitals.
  • You need team seats, role-based access or SSO today.
  • You want to import history from Umami, Simple Analytics or Plausible.

How does the pricing compare?

SuprAnalytics bills monthly by events. Rybbit's cloud bills by pageviews, and its pricing page lists yearly prices. They don't line up exactly, so here is each on its own terms.

SuprAnalytics

  • 6 monthly plans, from $9 for 100,000 events to $149 for 5 million
  • Every feature and unlimited websites on every plan
  • Counts pageviews, custom goals and outbound link clicks; never chat messages or payments
  • 2 years to 5 years of data history, by plan
  • Past the allowance, recording continues to 20% over, then pauses; no overage charges
  • 14-day free trial, no card. Monthly billing only. No self-hosted version

All SuprAnalytics plans

Rybbit

  • Standard from $13/month, billed yearly: up to 5 websites and 3 team members, 3 years of data
  • Pro from $26/month, billed yearly: unlimited websites and members, session replay, 5 years of data
  • Enterprise at a custom price: SSO, white label, on-premise
  • Priced by monthly pageviews, from 100K. Its comparison pages give a starting price of $19/month
  • 7-day free trial; the card is charged when it ends. Its pricing page lists no free plan
  • Free to self-host on your own server

Rybbit's pricing

Last verified: . Rybbit's pricing page shows yearly prices only, so its monthly-billing price at each tier isn't compared here. SuprAnalytics counts events, which include goals and outbound clicks; Rybbit's plans are sized in pageviews.

Switching from Rybbit

There's no automatic migration. Here is what moving involves.

  1. Keep Rybbit running for now

Your history stays in Rybbit: SuprAnalytics can't import it, and starts recording the day you install it. Run both side by side through the trial.

  2. Add the SuprAnalytics script

One tag in the <head>, or the guide for your platform. Need no cookies? Turn on cookieless mode.

  3. Re-create your goals

Rybbit's custom events don't carry over. Send goals with supr("goal_name") or an HTML attribute, then build your goals and funnels again.

  4. Connect your payment provider

So revenue is attributed from the first payment. How to connect one

  5. Turn on live chat, if you want it

Per website, in its settings. The widget comes from the same script.

Questions, answered.

What is the difference between Rybbit and SuprAnalytics?

Both are website analytics with traffic sources, journeys, goals, funnels and AI referral tracking. SuprAnalytics adds revenue attribution from five payment providers and a visitor live chat. Rybbit adds error tracking, web vitals, team roles and data imports, and is open source, self-hostable and cookieless by default in an EU cloud.

Does SuprAnalytics offer revenue attribution?

Yes, on every plan. Payments are tied to the visitor who made them and credited to a source, by first or last touch, chosen per website. Payments that can't be tied to a visitor still count in your revenue, without a source.

Can I connect Stripe, Polar, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy or Dodo Payments?

Yes. Each connects through its own webhook, with the visitor id passed through checkout. Polar and Dodo Payments links and Paddle.js buttons are tagged by the script; Stripe and Lemon Squeezy take the id from your checkout. Other providers can send payments through the payments API.

Does SuprAnalytics include live chat?

Yes. A chat widget and inbox are part of every plan and come from the same script as the analytics. Each conversation shows the visitor's source, pages, device and location. Visitors stay anonymous unless they share their details or your app identifies them.

Can I track multiple websites?

Yes. Every SuprAnalytics plan includes unlimited websites, sharing one monthly event allowance. Rybbit allows 5 websites on Standard and unlimited on Pro.

Does SuprAnalytics support cookieless tracking?

Yes, as an option: turn on cookieless mode and no cookie is set, with visitors recognised within a day. By default SuprAnalytics sets a first-party cookie. Rybbit is cookieless by default. Whether you need a consent banner depends on your setup and jurisdiction; this isn't legal advice.

Can I import my historical Rybbit data?

No. SuprAnalytics doesn't import data from Rybbit or any other tool, so your history stays in Rybbit and SuprAnalytics starts recording when you install it.

Is Rybbit self-hostable?

Yes. Rybbit is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence and can run on your own server with Docker; it also has a managed cloud hosted in the EU. SuprAnalytics has no self-hosted version.

Which product is better for SaaS founders?

It depends on the question you're asking. If it's which channels bring paying customers, or you want to talk to trial users on your site, SuprAnalytics answers it directly. If it's how people use your product, with errors and retention, or you need to self-host, Rybbit is the stronger fit.

How much does SuprAnalytics cost?

From $9 a month for 100,000 events, up to $149 for 5 million, billed monthly. Every plan has every feature, including revenue attribution and live chat, and starts with a 14-day free trial with no card. There's no permanent free plan.
