Embeddable widgets
Show your numbers on your own pages.
Turn widgets on for a website and embed a live visitor count, a revenue card or a visitors chart anywhere: a landing page, an open startup page, a blog post or a README. They show totals, never who your visitors are.

Four widgets from one link.
Each widget is a small page at /embed/<key>/<widget>, loaded in an iframe. Settings → Widgets offers three ready to copy, Realtime, Preview and Chart, each previewed as your visitors will see it.
- Visitors
- Visitors over a period, or the people online right now with
period=live. - Revenue
- Revenue over the period, in the website's currency.
- Chart
- A visitors chart, with revenue bars and the top five countries if you want them.
- Site
- Your website's name and icon with its visitors and revenue: the Preview widget.
Styled to sit on your page.
Set the options in Settings → Widgets with a live preview, or add them to the link yourself.
- Periods: live, the last 30 minutes, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days (the default) or 12 months
theme=autofollows the visitor's light or dark setting;lightanddarkfix it- Your own colours with
colorandcolor2, text size from 10 to 40 pixels, andbg=transparentfor no background - The embed code as HTML, or as JSX for React websites
format=svgturns the live visitor count into an image badge for a README;format=jsonreturns the numbers
Totals only, and yours to switch off.
Anyone with the link can load a widget, from any website, so a widget shows totals only: no visitors, pages or sources, and countries only on the chart when you add them.
- Off and on again
- Turning widgets off stops every embed. Turning them on again brings back the same link, so nothing needs pasting again.
- A new link
- Make a new link replaces the old one for good: every widget you embedded stops until you paste the new code.
Set it up.
Turn widgets on
In Settings → Widgets. This creates the website's secret widget link.
Pick and style one
Realtime, Preview or Chart. Set the colours, theme and text size, and check the preview.
Copy the code
As HTML or JSX, and paste it where the widget should appear.
How it works, in detail.
The docs page “Embeddable widgets” goes through it step by step.
Limits worth knowing
- Widgets show totals; they can't list visitors, pages or sources
- Numbers are at most a minute old, 20 seconds for the live and 30-minute widgets, which also update themselves on the page
- Revenue has no live view: a revenue widget asked for live shows the last 30 minutes
- The image badge is only for the live visitor count; the other widgets need an iframe
- One widget link per website; making a new one stops every old embed
