The weekly summary.

Send yourself a test summary from Settings → Reports to see it before Monday.

Traffic spike alerts.

SuprAnalytics compares the visits that started in the last hour with the hourly average of the 7 days before. When the hour reaches 4 times that average, and at least 30 visits, you get an alert.

  • Checked every 5 minutes, with at most one alert every 6 hours for a website
  • The alert gives the hour's visits against the usual hourly figure, and points you to the real-time view
  • Often the first sign that someone has posted a link to your website
  • Automatic attack mode can switch on from the same signal, for when the rush is a flood of fake traffic

Who gets them.

The website's owner and everyone on its team.

By email
Unless someone turned email notifications off in their account settings.
On Telegram
For everyone on the team who connected Telegram in their account settings and didn't mute the website there. The weekly summary arrives in short: four figures and the top three sources and pages.

How it works, in detail.

The docs page “Weekly and spike reports” goes through it step by step.

How it works

Limits worth knowing

  • The summary always covers the last 7 days, and goes out on Monday at 9:00 in the website's timezone
  • The spike threshold, 4 times the usual hourly visits and at least 30, can't be changed
  • Spike alerts are for rises only; there's no alert when traffic drops
  • Each website sends its own summary; there's no combined email across websites
  • An email for each signup or other goal is a goal alert, set up separately
